These clubs often host shows and events for members to showcase their dogs. Another plus about just doing club shows, is you can join as many different clubs as you want.
If your Cocker Spaniel does well in club events, then take the next step up, which would be a states show. State shows do not have the high standards that the worldwide known shows have. If you have the need to compete even further national shows are always an option. No matter how far you go in the dog show circuit remember to have fun. Enjoy the time you get to spend with your dog.
